Educators for In-Home Childcare
EDUCATORS
As a Wildlings In-home Childcare Educator you work from home attending to a small group of children (maximum 4). You would have the flexibility to set your own hours and rates. Joining our service means that you are fully supporting with the education curriculum, get to work under the guidance and periodic supervision of a qualified ECE kaiako.
The Wildlings Education team provides you with support in running your service and preparation of the home and any administrative requirements to get you started. Our educators are self-employed contractors working under the umbrella and license of The Wildlings

The Wildlings philosophy and curriculum allows time for children to explore their curiosity, a time to learn while playing and a time of rapid growth and development. Our In-Home Program of learning relies on differentiated instruction and play based learning. We strive to educate and care for all children of Aotearoa that is developmentally appropriate and personal to each learner that only a home can offer
What We Offer
FREE BUSINESSS START UP KIT
Business Startup Kit includes the full curriculum material and kit needed to successfully run and operate your in-home care service. You’ll be required to sign an initial contract for the duration of your education qualification term, which will be required upon completion of your qualification.
STEPPING STONES SUBSIDY
An additional hourly payment…more money to assist you in running your business *eligibility applies
WINZ and OSCAR SUBSIDIES
Parents are able to access these subsidies and we offer 20 HOUR FREE ECE HOURS
FREE NZQA QUALIFICATION
The MOE has set a new requirement that Educators need to gain their qualification. We will cover this cost.
FREE FIRST AID TRAINING
We help upskill you with first aid training as a standard offering to our service (all our educators must be trained first aiders). This comes complete with a first aid kit to be kept in your in-home care facility.
FREE OUTINGS & PLAYGROUPS
We pay for free outings and playgroups throughout the year for all children enrolled with The Wildlings Education. Our playgroups have a special focus on nature, art and the community

FREE ADMIN SUPPORT
We can look after your invoicing, collection of payments, regular payments to you and chasing of slow payers (whenever applicable).

The monthly activity packs are handy educator guides for fun learning and exciting fun
FREE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
We provide all our educators regular updates on regulations and necessary professional development and and ongoing training opportunities
FREE COACHING & MENTORING
In-home educators will have full access to a community of passionate people and mentored by a fully qualified ECE Teacher ensuring that your transition is smooth and efficient.
